During this challenging time of the COVID-19 pandemic, the future of IBD care and cures relies more than ever on the community to continue fundraising and donating. I am committed to my Take Steps team and raising money for the estimated 3.1 million Americans who are living with Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. Currently there is no cure for these diseases. Can I count on your support to make a donation? My goal is to raise $1,000.
The Foundation is investing in cures for tomorrow while supporting patients today. A very significant percentage of the Foundation’s annual budget is comprised of donations from programs like Take Steps; if participation declines dramatically our funding for research towards IBD cures, better treatments, and all the many education and support programs that we hold each year will drop significantly, which would result in limiting our ability to provide essential services to IBD patients across the United States.
