Take Steps and Help us Find a Cure for IBD: Crohnie Mommy's Crew is Back

I’m excited to share that I will be participating in Madison Take Steps event on June 12! I’m 100% committed to Take Steps because I want to find cures for millions of Americans that are living with Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis.

This cause is important to me because I am passionate about being an advocate for the IBD community. I was diagnosed in 2008 (although I had it years prior to that), and there isn't a day that goes by where I don't think about what having a cure would do for the millions who are faced with IBD. This isn't just a bathroom disease that is so often depicted on TV commercials. This can affect a newborn baby, a 10 year old practicing on the soccer field, a late 20 something like I was, or your elderly neighbor next door. Take Steps is such an empowering experience, and shows that Crohn’s & colitis patients are not alone in their journey.

This year’s Madison Take Steps will be held at McKee Farms Park! There will be social distancing guidelines in place. It’ll be a socially distanced drive-up starting at 9am to pick up incentives and say hello. Then, if you’re comfortable, we will have time slots on the walk route available to keep things ultra-safe & distanced. and I’m so thankful for this opportunity for the IBD community to come together. I’d love for you to join me by either registering as part of my team Crohnie Mommy’s Crew or making a donation in support. Please click the button below.
